Hi, it’s Paul Bae

Hi. My name is Paul and I am a digital strategist, storyteller, and a data-driven marketer (passionate about both brand marketing and performance marketing). I currently work as Director, Social Media and Digital Engagement with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Life in the NBA has been an amazing ride full of new experiences and learnings. Some places I’ve worked previously where I’ve had amazing opportunities to work with, and learn from, tremendously talented people: CBS Digital, Google, MTV Asia, Mars Music, JCrew.com, and a few cool side projects along the way like a tech startup that I founded – Snapadvice.io (which was acquired in early 2018).

Some of the things that I am most focused on right now:

• Becoming better at deriving actionable-insights from data. Current fav tools are Simply Measured, Tableau, FB native analytics, and GA (I also love digging into spreadsheets – weird, I know!)
• Visual storytelling through video/photo, and ensuring that tools like Instagram Stories are serving the brand storyline and the strategic goals of our organization (as well as driving the biz forward and delivering MQLs).
• Advanced targeting via FB and Twitter ads, and re-targeting whenever possible (always growing ROAS).
• Managing large scale projects that reach across all internal departments, the league, corporate and community partners, and most of all touch and engage our audiences in meaningful ways
